This book is one in a series of books designed to develop children's mathematical thinking. Each book supports the use of Funtastic Frog Counters in activities that teach key mathematical concepts. In Funtastic Frogs: Matching & Sorting, Grades K-2, children will use the frog counters in activities to: sort and match objects according to color and size; sort objects into groups or sets that are alike; find groups or sets that are the 'same'; compare groups or sets to find which has 'more' or 'fewer'; find relationships between groups or sets; sort objects using Venn diagrams; observe relationships to make a sorting rule; find objects that belong to more than one group or set.
