Răzvan Theodorescu și dnei Atena Groza, insoțit de fotografii remarcabile, vă descrie cele 7 situri aflate pe Lista UNESCO – Cetățile dacice din Munții Orăștiei, Centrul istoric al Sighișoarei, Așezările săsești cu ziduri fortificate din Transilvania, Bisericile cu pictură murală exterioară din nordul Moldovei (inclusiv Biserica Sucevița, recent intrată pe această listă și absentă din albumele deja existente in librării), Mănăstirea Hurezi, Bisericile de lemn din Maramureș și Delta Dunării. O carte de suflet pentru romanii de pretutindeni, dar și o carte care ne prezintă străinilor altfel decat prin clișeele mass-mediei sau prin stereotipuri simpliste, adică prin tradiție istorică și culturală, frumuseți naturale, dar și repere religioase.

A window open to the Romanian world, this is what is intended to be the trilingual album (Romanian-French-English) presented to those showing interest in the national heritage which became part of the world heritage. A concise text, yet rich in information, signed by academician Răzvan Theodorescu and by Atena Groza, illustrated with remarkable pictures, depicts the seven sites on the UNESCO List – the Dacian fortresses of Orăștie Mountains, the historic centre of Sighișoara, the Saxon fortresses of Transylvania, the churches with exterior mural painting of the northern Moldavia (including the Sucevița church which entered this list recently and which is missing from the albums already on the market), the Hurezi Monastery, the wooden churches of Maramureș and the Danube Delta. A soul book for Romanians everywhere, but also a book which gives another picture of us then the media clichés or the simplistic stereotypes do, that is a picture of historical and cultural tradition, beauty of nature, but also religious landmarks.
